1. Until 30 June 2021, passengers are not allowed to enter. This does not apply to: - nationals and residents of Malta; - passengers arriving from Andorra, Australia, Austria,Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland (Rep.), Italy,Japan, Jordan, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, SanMarino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay or Vatican City (Holy See). They must have been inone of these countries for at least 14 days before arrival; - passengers arriving on humanitarian, medevac or repatriation flights; - merchant seamen. 2. Passengers must have negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival. This does not apply to: - passengers younger than 5 years; - passengers with a COVID-19vaccination certificate issued by Malta. 3. A completed "Public Health Travel Declaration Form" and "Passenger Locator Form" found at https://www.maltairport.com/declarationforms/ must be presented upon arrival. 4. Merchant seamen must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure. The test result must be in English or accompanied by a certified Englishtranslation.

The GCI Recovery Forecasting methodology relies on a Monte Carlo simulation model as we recognise that the factors that contribute to an increase / decrease in confirmed COVID19 cases are highly variable and subject to various localised circumstances and interventions. The P10 / P50 / P90 are probabilities assigned to the forecasts, with P10 being highly optimistic, and P90 being very conservative on recovery and reduction in cases. The forecast model is updated daily based on the latest case data.
